he "Conference on Emerging Trends in Optical Technologies" at SRM University–AP, Mangalagiri, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, India, will commence in 2025. This series of international conferences is organized in collaboration with the Physical Research Laboratory, Ahmedabad, the University of Tartu, Estonia, and the National Physical Laboratory, Delhi, as well as associations like Optica and the Optical Society of India. As a biennial event, ETOT aims to foster and enhance research and development activities in the field of optical technologies.
Optical technologies have yielded promising applications across various domains, including quantum technologies, imaging and sensing, medical and healthcare, military and defense, astronomy, and space exploration. Innovations in quantum optics, such as quantum key distribution for secure communications and quantum sensors for ultra-sensitive measurements, are set to transform numerous industries. Additionally, advancements in imaging technologies for medical diagnostics have significantly improved healthcare outcomes.
