Do you excel at computer programming? Are you interested in boosting your skills and gaining experience while contributing to the development of the most advanced computing software? High Energy Physics, Computing and Data Science communities are waiting for you!
Applications for the IRIS-HEP Fellows program in Summer 2025 are now open and can be found here. Applications submitted by the end of the day on 10 March (in any time zone) will be given priority for consideration. However, the application form will remain open, and submissions will still be accepted until 24 March.
Program participants will have the possibility to enhance their programming skills by working remotely in collaboration with a mentor. This is also an opportunity to win a summer internship at CERN, which is the largest-in-the-world particle physics laboratory near Geneva.
The Experimental Nuclear and Particle Physics Center at the Faculty of Physics continues the project under the IMPRESS-U program and collaborates with the Institute for Research and Innovation in Software for High Energy Physics (IRIS-HEP). The goal of the project is to foster innovative research software development skill training by providing bachelor and master students an opportunity to find mentors from high-energy physics, computing and data science communities. Lithuanian participants are funded by the Research Council of Lithuania (LMTLT).
