FiDi, or Physicist's Day, is a community celebration created and organised by the students of the Faculty of Physics for the past 57 years, bringing together science, art and culture and encouraging self-expression among young people.
As every year, we invite you to visit three parts of the celebration: 5 April the amusement park Fizlandas will be set up next to the Faculty of Physics in Saulėtekis, where we will be welcoming visitors starting at 10.00.
Later, a festive procession from the Faculty of Physics to the Faculty of Philology will bustle through the streets of the city with the legendary Dinas Zauras and hundreds of students along with the other participants. The procession will start at 15.00 at LR Seimas.
Finally, in the evening, FiDi will be crowned by a spectacular concert, various artistic-scientific installations and tattoo and piercing masters waiting for the bravest. Doors open at 19:00.
