Graduation Clearance Procedure at Vilnius University
Each graduate of Vilnius University, who successfully completes the study process, shall clear his/her obligations with the following divisions of the University no later than five working days before the scheduled diploma award day:
The entire system is electronic - graduates do not need a billing slip.
University departments to be settled:
University Library - return borrowed books, equipment and interest, if any;
Dormitories Centre - if you live in a dormitory, please contact your dormitory administrator to cancel your contract;
International Relations Office - if you have been on an international study exchange;
Department of Student Services and Career - if you have been on an Erasmus traineeship and have not paid for it, please contact us by email;
Click here for more information.
Faculty Administration - when you settle with the other departments listed, the VU IS will tick that you have settled with them. Once this information reaches the faculty administration, the system will also indicate that you have settled in full with the University. It may take a few days for the administration to receive the full information, but graduates do not need to worry about anything else or contact the Study Office.
Graduates who have faculty key cards must return them to the dean's office, otherwise they will not be settled with the administration of their faculty.
You do not need to return your Lithuanian Student Card (LSP) to the Student Representation. The settlement with the Students' Representation is automatically marked for all final year students.
If you log in to the eStudent environment at is.vu.lt, you can see which departments you are still not settled with under "Student Settlement". For more detailed information on settling with the University, please refer to the description of the procedure for settling with Vilnius University for graduates.
